The adventure continues with perfect weather and amazing sights.
Sunday we sailed from Luxor just after 1:00pm. It's nice that we sail during the day and are docked overnight so we can enjoy the sights along the Nile River. Sunset that day was beautiful and late evening we pulled into Edfu for the night.
Monday morning we had a treat as we boarded horse-drawn carriages for a ride through town to the Temple of Horus. The early morning activity provided lots of photo ops as we wove our way through town!
Sailing from there was delightful up on the top deck of the ship. Lots to see along the river!
The ship continued to Kom Ombo, where we docked right next to the temple and walked up to it, followed by a visit to the crocodile museum. On the way back to the ship, Cara had to pose with two Egyptian policemen and put a cobra around her neck!

Thanks so much for taking us along on this once-in-a-lifetime journey! Please put a photo of my mom up if she'll let herself be photographed! (Barb).
